Ask & Embla Wood Co. offers small, carefully supervised woodworking workshops for children, grounded in craftsmanship, patience, and learning by making.
Inspired by Scandinavian traditions of woodcraft, our workshops introduce young people to real, useful woodworking skills - creating objects of function and beauty that are built to last, in a calm and focused environment.
Children work with real materials and real tools, learning to shape, measure, and build with care and purpose.
Who it’s For
Our workshops are designed for children aged 8+ who enjoy working with their hands and can take pride in creating something from start to finish.
Group sizes are intentionally kept small, a maximum of five children - allowing for close supervision, individual guidance, and a safer, more focused experience.
Safety
Safety is central to everything we do.
Children work with real tools and small machinery under close, hands‑on supervision. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided and used throughout each session.
Activities are carefully adapted to suit the age, ability, and confidence of each child, and may be adjusted or paused at any time to ensure the safest experience.
